I always wanted to write about this. To frame it I want to talk about Paul Stamets comments about some lucid dream he had when he was on or coming down from some mushrooms. Paul basically described a lucid dream where he saw all these dead cows, and not much long after, Paul saw a bunch of dead cows just like in that lucid dream.
My dream, well the dream I was having I can’t remember at the moment, but the dream I had after that one is the one where I dreamed I woke up, and that’s were it gets really weird. When I woke up everything was sort of fast, like a computer when the clockspeed is off or something, I woke up in my old room, and it was like a routine, getting ready for work. I got up out of bed but I was “Tom” this other guy, not me. We went to school together he was into punk rock and played bass for this band I used to sometimes hangout with at their practice space on the weekends.
So I woke up in my old room, and as someone else, and I went outside and it wasn’t my car, it was Tom’s. I got in the car or close to it and I think that is where the dream stopped.
Now I have to describe why that was so weird and the strange things it maybe elludes to. Just gonna try to list them as I remember. I mentioned in the "Gate program but for L.D. kids" post how I was forced into vocational school stuff even though I wanted to chase this one girl around. That girl ended up with Tom. The bedroom I wokeup in, I ended up living at that house again years later and had that same room, all over again. There are a few other obscure things that pertain to Tom, I once woke up and said “I’m gonna be in a car accident today” Ironically I was in not one, but two car accidents that day, one of them was with Tom. There was this other thing about this other girl I liked that ended up living in the same house as Tom’s girl and I remember that being my first ever syncronicity but I didn’t knw that word at the time. Not sure what all this means, writing about the one thing kind of jogged my memory. I wanted to mention that seeing observing and experiancing syncronicity is somehow akin to seeing the seems in the patchquilt universe. It can really tie the room together!
There are themes of stuttering, and altered states bringing information that seems as if it is from the future. More than a few dreams that would seem more logical if they were refered to as out of body experience due to obtaining information from non local sources. I also hold the possibilty that logics circuits can just run and predict somehow. Paul Stamets last name reminds me of the word stammer, which has something to do with stuttering, people probably don’t remember but Paul Stamets had a stuttering problem, but he would speak anyways and as far as I know he overcame this, off the top of my head it had something to do with a girl / love interest.
Gonna insert a rubber chicken at the bottom here. Maybe as a reminder that the joke is true and factual sometimes. Like the time a white owl that turned off only our power at the transformer on 3/3 and how I had just watched that “The Fourth Kind” movie and found it strange.
